Back  in 1921, our founders-brothers Harvey and Herbert Koontz, began repairing motors in a small garage in South Bend, Indiana. Their mission of providing complete electrical service soon found a niche in the expanding and, at the time, high-tech world of electrical motor repair.
     Today, there are over 80 years of experience behind the Koontz-Wagner name. The company is now led by Richard J. Pfeil. Under his direction the company has grown from one facility in South Bend, Indiana to seven facilities in three states, employing over 400 people and producing an annual sales volume of over 55 million dollars.
